User accounts for instructors can be added in the TMS and will provide them with all the rights they will need to login, manage classes and labs, and host virtual classes. Using the Create Instructor link will automatically assign the Instructor permissions your trainers need. Each user account created must use a unique email address.
To create an instructor account, once you are logged in, open Site Administration. On the Instructor tile, click the Create Instructor link. This opens up the Create User page. You will need to fill in the following required fields for each instructor: First Name, Last Name, E-mail, Username and Password. Verify that the instructor is being added to the correct Center and Time Zone. You may fill-in data in the other fields if you wish to capture it here. These fields and the other tabs will be covered in future blogs and videos.
